“I am”: the ironic song that we should listen to as an anthem for World Environment Day

"I am": the new song by the band Capone & BungtBangt, made with recycled instruments, which invites us to take care of the environment

I am environment, I am environment and without air and without sea I am nothing: thus begins the musical piece "I Am ...", created by the band Capone & BungtBangt (which uses eco-sustainable and recycled tools) and launched on the occasion of World Environment Day, which is celebrated on 5 June. The song, accompanied by a fresh and ironic video, can be considered a kind of hymn that invites everyone to take care of our planet before it's really too late.

"I Am ..." is a sunny and cheerful song, written precisely to convey positivity at a time when there is a great desire to return to "normal life" after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. To create the text that celebrates nature and the joy of living it fully Maurizio Capone, founder of the band, in collaboration with Lello Savonardo, singer-songwriter and professor of Communication at the Federico ll University of Naples. Reggae sounds and jungle rhythms evoke the natural and wild jungle, but also the chaos of the cities to underline the importance of finding harmony between the two different dimensions.

The new song by Capone & BungtBangt is made special as it was made using recycled musical instruments (including an electric broom) and environmentally friendly, a feature that made the band members pioneers in the field of “Green Music”.
