Iraide is only 11 years old but a great fortitude that does not discourage her in the face of anything, not even the fact that she has to lead her life in a wheelchair.

This little girl has a dramatic past behind her. When she was very small, a serious problem in her spine forced her to use a wheelchair which, since then, has become her faithful companion, a sort of "ally" from which she has not left in no way to limit.

Iraide is in fact endowed with extreme courage and will to live. She doesn't really deprive herself of anything (indeed she does much more than other kids her age generally do): she plays tennis, skis, does gymnastics, swims and when she grows up she dreams of becoming a professional athlete as well as a cardiovascular surgeon. .

Behind this young girl there is also a very solid and strong family, a team that works together for the good of all. The rehabilitation of Iraide, as her mother tells us, was very hard but it was enough to replace the cold and technical term of "rehabilitation" with that of "sport" to completely change the little girl's perspective.

Iraide started swimming at the age of 3 and at the same time also started skiing. Shortly after her passions were joined by tennis, the girl trains at the Madrid Tennis Federation (FTM) two afternoons a week and, from time to time, she participates in a campus for a whole week.

He doesn't even want anyone to push the wheelchair back into place and asked the parents to remove the handlebars so that no one could do it again.

A really determined girl don't you think? Not to mention how much she has to teach us ...
