A Korean designer tried to apply her grandmother's advice in order to design some containers that allow you to keep food longer without the aid of the refrigerator.

    With his own containers Jihyun Ryou has tried to facilitate the practical application of the modalities of preservation of foods used in the past. So the ideal box to contain potatoes is equipped with a lid, so that they can be stored in the dark so that they do not germinate too quickly.

In the past centuries, sand has been one of the most used conservation methods for vegetables such as carrots and for some tubers, as it is considered able to keep them at the most suitable temperature so that they do not rot quickly. Furthermore, in doing so the carrots (which are tubers) will find the conditions to germinate and will always be fresh as if just picked when you decide to use them.     Zucchini, eggplant, cucumbers and pepperoni they can be kept fresh even outside the refrigerator, remembering to spray them regularly with water.
