GBC Ecoboxx: the transportable photovoltaic kit for the summer

GBC presents Ecoboxx, the portable photovoltaic kit useful for our summer needs

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Those who travel by camper or caravan, those who go to an unequipped campsite or simply those who have a very large garden where there is no electricity socket often find themselves having need for energy but not knowing how to do it.

GBC has designed a fairly convenient and economical solution: it's called Ecoboxx and it is a portable photovoltaic kit with built-in batteryEcoboxx, thanks to a solar panel from 50 Wh o 120 Wh transforms solar energy into electricity and stores it in the 4 Ampere / hour battery (or 10 Ah, for the more powerful model).

The kit also has a comfortable 4 meter long cable, a 16 Volt DC power supply and 2 superbright 3W led bulbs to have a minimum of night lighting. The 120 Wh version also includes an inverter that brings the current to 220 V, to power small appliances. From outdoor barbecues to camping, passing through the boat emergencies, most of the needs are therefore covered.

The kit, which has a reasonable price (159 euros for the 50 Wh model and 259 for the 120 Wh model) is also expandable by adding other photovoltaic panels or accessories. Ecoboxx 120 also includes a inverter 220Vca 100W, for powering small household appliances.

Portable photovoltaic kits are becoming more and more popular as photovoltaics begin to produce enough electricity for small daily needs. Another example of these solutions is the Sun Ready Power photovoltaic trolley, designed to bring electricity to places that are difficult to access.
