The project for 1000 3 kWp photovoltaic systems in the territory of the Mountain Community was presented yesterday, at the Multimedia Room of the Municipality of Campello Sul Clitunno, which will bring solar energy to the homes of a thousand families of the Mountain Community of the Martani, Serano and Subasio, in the province of Perugia. This is an interesting initiative that involves the construction of a thousand wooden or metal gazebos covered with photovoltaic panels with a power of 3 KW at a practically zero cost for those who decide to join the project by becoming the owner of the photovoltaic gazebo and thus benefiting from the incentive rates. provided by the Energy Account as well as all the advantages deriving from the installation of solar panels.

This is an interesting initiative that involves the construction of a thousand wooden or metal gazebos covered with photovoltaic panels of power equal to 3 KW at a practically zero cost for those who decide to join the project by becoming the owner of the photovoltaic gazebo and thus benefiting from the incentive rates provided by the Energy Account as well as from all the advantages deriving from the installation of solar panels.
The gazebos will be high from 1,7 to 3,1 meters , will have a width of 4 meters and will be 5 meters long. They can be used to enjoy the cool and the outdoors, but also for the vehicle shelter and they will already be provided with everything necessary (for example the "inverters" to convert the electric current from direct to alternating) to be directly connected to the electricity grid and to enjoy the photovoltaic incentives through the "exchange on the spot" mechanism.
The signing of an agreement among the adherents and the promoters of the initiative, ENER (National Agency for Renewable Energy) and Energesco Srl, who will carry out the photovoltaic systems as well as managing all the bureaucratic procedures for connecting the system to the electricity network and obtaining the benefits of Energy Account.
THEinstallation will be free, as well as the subsequent maintenance of the plant which will be carried out by ENER, which also undertakes to withdraw the panels at the end of the time duration perevista for the agreement (20 years) if the owner of the land and the gazebo no longer wants to keep the structure of which he will, in effect, be the owner. Those who want to join the initiative will have to have land, in its availability, facing south, of adequate size and, above all, not burdened by urban or landscape constraints. The adherent must take care to create a concrete slab (just over 20 m2) on which to anchor the gazebo and will have to pay a minimum "one-off" contribution of 300 euros, against the benefits of the Energy Account which you will be able to enjoy for twenty years, by virtue of the mechanism of exchange on the spot. Of course the owner will have to undertake not to dismantle the gazebo for the twenty years provided for by the agreement.
ENER and Energesco Srl, through a virtuous collaboration with the participating citizens which will benefit the environment, will have their economic return from the initiative through theuse of the surplus of electricity that the owner of the gazebo will not use and whose exploitation, pursuant to the stipulated agreement, is assigned to ENER ed Energesco srl.
All those who want to join the initiative will have to send a request, only and exclusively by post, and must do so by April 30 2010. In fact, a special notice has been prepared, available and downloadable also online on the website of the Mountain Community. However, it will also be possible to obtain information by contacting the Spoleto Citizen Desk - Mountain Community area / Province of Perugia - and the SIM Telecentres present in many municipalities in the Community territory of the Mountain Community.
