We had already told you about the jewels to grow, those of the eccentric Icelandic design Hafsteinn Juliusson and his “Growing Jewelry”.

Here, however, the collection is called Passionflower and each individual piece of jewelry can be worn for two to four weeks before the plants start growing. In fact, before taking root in the metal base they can be removed and replanted, while the accessories can continue to be worn alone or, why not, embellished with other succulents.

La sustainability it lies precisely in this: it does not exist any waste because everything can be transplanted again in pots or in the garden.

Usually, such special jewels are worn on special occasions such as weddings and succulents become a memory of an unforgettable day. All accessories are different from each other both for the variety of green used, both for the colors and for the dimensions.

Before, I was a florist and made jewels only for friends. But when one of them got married and asked me to design flowers for the wedding, I thought I'd do something more creative. Each piece is composed with attention to color and shape. The jewels must be treated with delicacy and respecting the plants which then become an excellent ornament for our homes and gardens, says the designer.

The jewels are for sale online and the prices range from 30 euros to 250 depending on their characteristics.
