For those who wanted to renovate the kitchen or simply buy an energy-efficient appliance, the decree approved in recent days by the government comes to the rescue with the new 2010 eco-incentives which this year, as we have seen, reserve a large portion of the funds allocated to eco-homes and in particular also to those who, regardless of the renovation work, want to opt for an energy-saving kitchen.

For who was going to renovate the kitchen or simply buy an energy-efficient appliance, the decree approved in recent days by the government comes to the rescue with the new 2010 eco-incentives that this year, as we have seen, they reserve a large portion of the funds allocated to eco-homes and in particular also to those who, regardless of the renovations, want to opt for one kitchen in the name of energy saving.
But be careful, because being the funding available only until "sold out", it is very likely that you will have to start right away, as it probably will also happen for incentives reserved for mopeds, to plan your "race for the state bonus" in time. In theory, in fact, the contributions will come into effect starting from 6 April until 31 December 2010, but it is very likely that, given the requests, they will be dried up in a few days.
A bit like what happened to bicycle incentives (sold out in just 4 days) a website will be set up to which retailers will have to connect and where the resources identified by the implementing decree. Therefore, there is a real risk that, once you have chosen your appliance or your beautiful new kitchen and provided all the necessary identification documents, you will see yourself blocking the live operation due to "exhaustion of the funds available" which, we remind you, amounts to 58 million for the purchase of the furniture of the kitchen e 50 million for household appliances.
If, on the other hand, you will be among the lucky beneficiaries you can take advantage of the following discounts:
- Kitchen furniture: for replacing kitchen cabinets with modular kitchens complete with class A built-in appliances the discount is equal to 10% of the purchase price with a maximum contribution of 1000 €. This means that if you choose a kitchen worth € 8.000, you will pay € 7.200, while in the case of a combination of € 11.000, the price at your expense will still be € 10.000.
- Individual appliances: if instead of the entire kitchen you want to renew only the individual components, the discount goes up to 20% of the list price even if the ceilings applied vary according to the type of appliance chosen. However, all must be high energy efficiency and equipped with the most up-to-date security measures. In particular, they are entitled to a reduction of 20%:
- New dishwashers: up to a maximum of 130 euros;
- Electric ovens and hobs: up to a maximum of 80 euros;
- Electric hood and heat pump water heater and stoves: up to a maximum of 500 euros
To take advantage of the discount it will be enough go to a dealer and hope to return to availability. It will then be the retailer himself who will take care of the die and then recover the incentive at the post office counters by providing photocopies of identity documents and receipts issued.
