With a circular issued on 20 April, the Ministry of Agricultural Development clarified the terms for receiving the 2010 eco-incentives provided for by the ministerial decree of 26 March 2010 to companies for the purchase of tractors, agricultural machinery and earthmoving.

With a circular released on April 20, the ministry of agricultural development clarified the terms for receiving eco-incentives 2010 provided for by the ministerial decree of 26 March 2010 to companies for the purchase of tractors, agricultural machinery and earth moving machines.
The document clarifies that the contribution will be paid in the form of a reduction in the sale price of the machine net of management costs. In particular, the reduction of the 10% of the price of the price list provided that the dealer or the seller applies an equal discount on the list price, for the purchase of agricultural and earthmoving machinery, including operating ones, with motors that fall into the category "Phase IIIA": Attached, semi-mounted and fixed agricultural equipment, replacing machines manufactured before December 31st 99 of the same category as those replaced.
The machines, the ministry specifies, will have to be of the same type and with power no more than 50% of the original scrapped. Within 15 days from the date of delivery of the new machine, the recipient of the contribution must demolish the old machine and arrange for its legal cancellation for demolition.
The contribution, still reads in the circular, however, it cannot be combined with other benefits granted by law on the same machine. The overall amount of aid granted to each individual company may not exceed 400mila euros disbursed over any three-year period oi 500mila if the company is located in disadvantaged areas such as mountain areas.
