He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

We speak little of modern art, but if you are also a lover of nature identity then, how can we not appreciate art too… after all there nature is art!

A really interesting artist is the American Owen Mortensen who with his art reveals the delicate internal mechanisms of the leaves, transforming leaves, branches and flowers into unique organic art.

Some have compared his works to those that derive from the artistic experiments that each of us did as children gluing dried flowers and leaves on the paper.

The artist use large plantain leaves, selectively cutting cuticles and leaf parts allowing to expose the complex system of veins inside the leaves themselves.

Le fragile and transparent veins are underlined in a square on a white background.

On his website the artist declares to recognize the intrinsic aesthetic qualities of organic objects stating that, although often unnoticed, these elements of natural design they are quite dramatic and beautiful.

A common theme to Owen's work is the transition concept, interpreted perfectly through his own pattern.

Botanical drawing

But if you like art more doing it than admiring it, so how miss out on experimenting with botanical design, done with simple pencil on paper or with watercolor.

Il Botanical Drawing, in fact, it is one artistic discipline characterized by a realistic representation from life of the Plant Kingdom.

It is a technique born at the dawn of time when the only way to anatomically describe flowers, plants and leaves in a clear way was to draw them; I personally find it an art that works hand in hand with love and knowledge.

Knowledge, in fact, and I'm not just talking about that technique, is the basis of an experience like that of botanical drawing.

About garden tells us how to questart gives us the opportunity to get closer and learn more about plants: to do this, each of us requires careful observation of the smallest plant details.
