What to do with dog hair after grooming? Bags instead of making them garbage, why not. Or at least that's the idea of Fur You by Doris. It is a line of bags designed and made with recovered dog hair, which are sterilized, cared for and processed by Brazilian veterinary and stylist Doris Carvalho.
“A passion for fashion combined with a decade of veterinary experience helped me develop the process that leads to this collection. Each bag has a personalized and bold design, it is made uniquely by hand for each consumer, thus making it a real work of art “, explains the stylist.
These bags are ecologically designed to reduce the impact on the planet, adding value to a sustainable society. Part of the profits will go to Humane Society to directly help the animals that need it. And to carry this project forward, one was launched crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
The goal is to raise $ 15.000. Once collected, the first collection of bags will start. And maybe then we will soon find a dog hair recovery bag in the local shop. Would you buy it?
