3 minutes or less to tell the best works created by Banksy in New York. It's the urban graffiti superstar's answer to last week's win of the Webby Awards, where the artist without identity is was chosen as "Person of the Year".

Obviously, the Englishman, keeping to his vote of anonymity, did not accept the award. But the thanks came with a video uploaded to Youtube, in which a narrator talks about the exploits of his “Better Out Than In”. It is an open-air solo show in which a work was created in the Big Apple every day for 31 days.

    Banksy himself explains its nature:

"Outside is where art should live: among us. Street art is not a fad. Perhaps the last thousands of years of art history have been an interruption, when art has been put indoors, at the service of the church and institutions. But art belongs by right to the cave walls of our communities, where it can be a public service, provoke discussions, give voice to concerns, form identities ".

From here, therefore, installations and works are born, which have conquered newspapers, critics and people from all over the world. Starting with the inhabitants of NYC, who have embarked on an exciting treasure hunt to find, photograph and admire them. All this resulted in a invitation to reflect on our society and its contradictions.

On the eleventh day, for example, he realized Sirens of the lambs, a truck to transport animals to the slaughterhouse. The work, which has terrified children around the city, is a clear one criticism of the meat industry, which treats animals as commodities and not as sentient beings. McDonald's was also in the sights: the performance of the sixteenth day was a man polishing his shoes at a statue of Ronald McDonald, as a protest against the low wages of fast food workers.
