    A sculpture of the NBA great Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna 'Gigi' Bryant was brought to the crash site on January 26.

    A sculpture of the great Kobe Bryant of the NBA and his daughter Gianna 'Gigi' Bryant was brought to the crash site last Wednesday, January 26, where 7 other people also lost their lives due to the crash of the helicopter where they were traveling , on a hill near Los Angeles.





    The statue, weighing 73 kg, is the work of sculptor Dan Medina, is in bronze and depicts 13-year-old Gigi holding his father Kobe's hand resting on his shoulder. Both are wearing basketball uniforms.

    On the steel pedestal of the statue are also engraved the names of the other seven victims of the accident, which took place in the early morning of January 26, 2020, in the middle of a thick fog: Alyssa Altobelli, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Payton Chester, Sarah Chester , Christina Mauser, Ara Zobayan, engraved on a plaque at the base of the statue (as well as obviously also showing Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant.

    A 160-pound sculpture statue was temporarily on display in Calabasas today near the crash site.

    A five-time NBA champion in his 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Bryant's death at the age of 41 shocked the professional sports world and sent fans to mourn. Not to mention, his daughter, who he was taking to play a basketball game, was just 13 years old.



    And that, of course, 7 other people also died, leaving pain on this earth.
