More news on tax deductions. A new eco-bonus may soon be introduced. This time the personal income tax deductions concern built-in appliances. Not just furniture. Within the system of relief for the renovation of buildings these appliances are also included up to the maximum ceiling of 10.000 euros provided for by the restructuring decree, announced at the beginning of June.

The amendment was approved yesterday, June 26, by the Industry and Finance committees of the Senate. According to the provisions of the new amendment to the decree, in the event of building renovations, the expenses for all "large electrical appliances, including free-standing appliances, of a class not lower than A + (A for ovens)" may be deductible.

Clarification due by the Ministry, given that the news of the new eco-bonuses had been reported with many inaccuracies by some press agencies.

In any case, it will be necessary await the conversion of the provision into law. The discount, therefore, will not be valid immediately, as it is a parliamentary amendment to a decree.
