Comes to the cinema with Medusa on February 28, 'Tomorrow is another day', directed by Simone Spada starring Marco Giallini (Giuliano) and Valerio Mastandrea (Tommaso).
Tommaso lives in Canada and teaches robotics, while Giuliano remained in Rome and is an actor. Two friends for thirty years with very different characters, the first extroverted, the second reserved and of few words.
Giuliano is condemned by a terminal diagnosis and, after a year of struggle, he has decided not to fight anymore. So the two friends only have four days of a long weekend left to close the accounts and relive the best moments of their friendship. Together with them is the dog Pato who is practically a son for Giuliano.
The first thing to do is to find accommodation for the faithful four-legged friend. After the four days, Tommaso is about to take the plane and they will never see each other again. But Giuliano has one last surprise for him. As for the rest, tomorrow is another day.
The film, a remake of Truman - A true friend is forever directed in 2015 by Cesc Gay, is a "road movie of memories" where we talk about death, but without too many drama.
“What is it that matters in life? Love, family, relationships. Pato and I. You and me ”, says Giuliano; "You put me after the dog", replies the other. Of course, because Pato is there, and he can be seen: a big, big and cool Bernese Mountain Dog, who needs to be fixed ".
