What if the acrobatic virtuosity of the circus meets design, self-production and the philosophy of tiny houses? The British collective reveals it to us Acrojou, by Jeni Barnard and Barney White.

The duo, engaged in the making of contemporary circus performances for events around the world and driven by the passion to communicate through the vitality, immediacy and emotional impact of physical storytelling, gave birth to The Wheel House.

It is an exhibition, one of the 6 staged by these artists who have toured 9 countries and reached 60 thousand spectators, made entirely within a mobile circular micro-house, a perfect tiny house, which features all the typical elements of any home: doors, windows, curtains, bed, kitchen utensils, frames and even a wall clock.

The two acrobats look like they came out of an adventure film and in their performance they move inside the slowly rolling "house". Every now and then the house on wheels stops to allow the duo to carry out normal household activities. The structure, built by hand, looks like two gigantic wheels stuck together and made habitable.

A hidden speaker system creates the column that accompanies the activities of the couple as they rise, move and twist in this incredibly small space with extreme and unthinkable grace.

The public is able to witness and walk around the structure as it rolls. Playing on the themes of exploration, cooperation and the boundless nature of the human imagination, this poetic work of visual theater tells beautiful stories of family and love in its circular micro-universe.
