Bella is a cow mistreated by a groom who, encouraged by Pino the little mouse, becomes the leader of the animals of a farm and all together give way to a real rebellion, calling man to respect for nature.

It is called precisely 'The rebellion of animals' and the protagonists of the new book by Franco Tagliente they are just cows, chickens, pigs, bees, pigeons, gulls, earthworms and moles locked up in farms.

A story about nature aimed at young and old to raise public awareness of the ferocious condition to which industrially reared animals are subjected.

It all begins when Pino the mouse incites the cow Bella and her companions to rebel against the maltreatment of the stable boy and the small rodent organizes his escape by collecting all the animals locked up in the nearby farms. The situation precipitates for the guardians and the ending leaves you with bated breath.

“The protagonists of the farm express their condition of discomfort launching a clear and educational message to readers, a starting point to reflect on the responsibility of each one to take care of creation. In an era in which animals are subjected to intensive breeding, history delicately focuses on human behavior and the measures adopted by it for the fate of animals ”, explains Tagliente.

The most important lesson we can draw from the book is respect for all living things. Thanks to the illustrations for children curated by Chiara Tronchin, the book is suitable for everyone and the rebellious animals with their sympathy go straight to the heart. Their feelings are then encapsulated in this video of a few minutes:

    Other lessons from the books:

    • THE ANIMAL FARM: 10 TEACHINGS FROM THE BOOK OF ORWELL
    • CHRISTMAS: 10 BOOKS (+1) TO GIVE TO ANIMAL LOVERS

The book is published by Ortica Editrice and the rights reserved to the author will be donated to the non-profit Earth Humanitarian Association of the Third World of Treviso engaged in Ethiopia.
