Bring solar energy everywhere, too in the buildings of the historic centers, without changing the visual impact of the roofs. From now on it will be possible because the production of a special has begun invisible photovoltaic tile.

In the past we had already talked about photovoltaic tiles and after a few years there are finally some news. In fact, the project for the creation of the Solar photovoltaic tile started in 2009 and now, after the prototypes and the improvement of production techniques, this novelty can arrive in our homes.

The Solar invisible tile is a photovoltaic and photocatalytic architectural element, with all the advantages of terracotta tile and being able to make renewable energy such as that provided by the sun available to us.

In fact the invisible tile plays several functions: produces clean and renewable energy, waterproofs and protects the building. purifies the air of harmful substances and self-cleans its surface.

The main objective of creating the invisible photovoltaic tile is that of renovate historic centers in a sustainable way in compliance with the constraints of Cultural Heritage. In this way, however, the energy requalification of buildings will be possible without problems.

It is an important step forward to be able to detach from non-renewable and polluting energies, starting with coal and oil. This invisible photovoltaic tile has already been approved by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage for the improvement of energy efficiency in cultural heritage.

Its surface is opaque to the eye but it is transparent to the sun's rays and covers the photovoltaic cells hiding them, without affecting their functioning in any way and guaranteeing the best possible aesthetic result for a historic building.
