From the United States to Australia, here are the beautiful murals that save the oceans, works by artists sensitive to environmental issues.

Not only beautiful, these murals concretely contribute to saving the oceans. Made so far in 17 countries by more than 400 different artists, they are the result of the "Sea Walls: Artists For Oceans" project of the PangeaSeed Foundation, a non-profit organization in Hawaii, which through art intends to raise awareness of environmental issues and in particular on the critical situation of the oceans.

- A drop of paint can create an ocean of change - this is the motto of the initiative that brings oceans to the streets around the world. The choice is not accidental. The oceans, the organizers explain on the official website, affect the life of all of us, regardless of where we live.

The huge number of people on our overpopulated planet who use and depend on the sea, and the sometimes unwise practices we adopt, have created many problems such as overfishing, pollution, ocean acidification, biodiversity loss. and the degradation of marine habitats. We risk losing the very ecosystems on which our survival depends so closely.

A truly valuable initiative that combines art and environmental activism.
