Five years have passed since the success of Inside Out but now the author himself, Oscar-winning director Pete Docter, is about to launch a new film that promises to be just as entertaining and, like his other successes (including Up), also of make us think.

This is Soul starring Joe Gardener, a middle school music teacher animated by a real passion for jazz. Suddenly, however, due to an accident Joe finds himself grappling with an unusual situation: his body is separated from his soul and the latter arrives at the “You Seminar”, a center for the development of souls where they acquire their passions before returning to earth and living by incarnating as new children.
A fantastic place where everyone has the opportunity to discover their uniqueness and their talents. This is where Joe's soul (voiced in the original version by Jamie Foxx) meets 22, a soul that is forming.
Thus begins a journey to discover the true essence of each one in order not to waste one's life (which grants us a limited time) in useless things and to leave a memorable mark in this world.
