The Japanese multinational, leader in digital technology applied to electronics, has in fact announced another good deed in favor of the victims of the earthquake: 250 solar power plants, which will be shipped - thanks to the collaboration with the Japanese Ministry of Defense - in the affected areas. It goes without saying that this is not a consolation gift, but a concrete help for the inhabitants of the eastern area of the country, the one affected by the tsunami, still struggling with a reconstruction that is anything but easy.
- solar - Sharp specifies in a press release - they were “specially designed for the areas affected by the disaster”. Specifically equipped with a spare battery Shin-Kobe Machinery and Sharp solar cells, have one multiple AC outlet, which will allow one or more users to recharge everyday objects that have become indispensable for communicating, such as the phone or notebook. The main purpose is to provide an autonomous source of electricity, in areas that have remained isolated or difficult to reach due to the rubble.
In this regard, the action of the Ministry of Defense is indispensable, which a few days ago has organized a freight transport network at the request of individual prefectures, so as to facilitate the task of rescuers and humanitarian associations. The installation of the 250 plants should be completed by today in as many emergency shelters. And whether or not it is a subtle advertising maneuver it does not matter: calling a loved one is perhaps the only daily consolation of those who, like them, have lost everything.
