A street art work of about 70 m has emerged in Mesagne, along a street in the center: it restores an intense blue to a street affected by public works.
A starfish and, further on, the tail of a dolphin and the tentacles of an octopus, all in an intense blue sea: it is the new great work of street art of about 70 meters which has sprung up to Mesa, along a whole street in the historic center. In this alley of the town of Salento the relining works had not been completed and so, to make it more beautiful in view of the summer season, it was decided to embellish it with the colors of the sea that represents this wonderful corner of Puglia.
Thinking about it was the Brindisi artist Steven Parpanesi who accepted the invitation of the mayor to at least temporarily revolutionize the street with a river of colors, to sweep away the dust of a construction site that had been open for too long.

Today the blue invades the road, but the intent is to “fill the whole sea”, as Parpanesi himself tells us. And when asked why he decided to paint the sea and use so many colors, the street artist's thoughts go to her sister, who died at a young age: “My sister Kimberly liked colors, I think of her while I paint. Kimberly is my angel, my only angel because I am an atheist ”.
