Behind the intentions of Dario Mangiaracina and Veronica Lucchesi, also very active from a social point of view, there is much more.
It is actually a real apocalyptic scenario that lies ahead between their lines and which among other things takes up that of the novel by the LRDL themselves, Maimamma, published last autumn.
They are a passage and a book, therefore, that share the theme of the disastrous inheritance that we have received and that we are about to leave to our children, and that - with the hands, with the feet, with the heart, with the cu ** o - does not spare any part of our body. But none at all.

It is a story set in a dystopian future, that of 200-year-old Lavinia who is about to give birth to a child. But all around there is a world that is about to end and in more than XNUMX pages Veronica and Dario put everything inside, everything that leaves us stranded and without strength: motherhood, ecology, inclusion, precariousness, feminism.
All themes dear to the group addressed in part in the tracks of My Mamma, the album driven by the Sanremo single Amare which in 2021 had launched the LRDL to the general public.

Hi Hi, the song
The song that the boys brought to the Sanremo 2022 edition was born from these ideas here, as the conclusion of a cycle, and last year, during the days of Fridays for Future.
Many of the suggestions of the piece arise precisely from those moments, from the signs of the demonstrators, from the shouting of things together. We felt the urgency and the need to return those sensations and in a part of the song we wanted to reproduce some moments of the procession, Veronica Lucchesi tells here.
The end of the world described in those verses should not be read, they say, necessarily linking it to the pandemic, but undoubtedly to a historical moment that inevitably involves everyone. That tune that is now in everyone's ears, in short, aims at a more than noble goal: to catapult us into a real drama. What we are all experiencing now. Nobody excluded.
