Store our waste? It would certainly be a way to realize how much superfluous we consume. The experiment in images by the French photographer Antoine Repessé.

rubbish e collection. We often hear big numbers on the amount of waste we could recover. Of plastic, but also of paper and glass, we throw away impressive piers, which, most likely, we do not even realize. How would we be in our homes if we didn't throw anything away? This would certainly be a way to realize how much of superfluous we consume.

And precisely to draw attention to the amount of garbage we create every day and raise awareness of a real emergency, the French photographer Antoine Repessé has stopped for 4 years to throw his recyclable waste and then photograph it. And some really meaningful paintings came out.

In less than five years, Repessé has immortalized more than 70 cubic meters of garbage: 1.600 bottles of milk, 4.800 rolls of toilet paper and 800 kilos of newspapers.

Like himself 7 days of waste: impressive portraits of people in their garbage (PHOTO), Antoine has started to stop throwing out the garbage he produced at home, putting the materials in

“A series of photographs with different subjects called #365 Unpacked, that highlight the unbridled consumerism of our age ".

It is difficult to realize how much waste we produce in daily life if we do not see it all accumulated together ”.

With these impactful images we should realize how much garbage we are able to produce. The impact of an image

“Can be more powerful than a ton of words. I hope to inspire a change or, at least, to make people think ".

The artist said he was inspired to create his unusual art project after realizing how addicted we are to certain types of foods and how consumers like him have been forced to pay more for some products simply because of their packaging.
