From Banksy to Keith Haring, the first street art museum to float on the Seine opens in Paris

    Fluctuart is the new floating urban art center in the world! It is located in Paris in a totally transparent space of 1000 square meters and on three levels.

    Fluctuart, or a floating museum on the Seine. A one-of-a-kind structure in the world opens in Paris, floating on the waters of the Ville Lumière river and offering a journey into urban art. A journey to do at least once in a lifetime!





    Here, anchored at the port of the Gros Caillou district and at the foot of the Pont des Invalides, Fluctuart is a structure of about one thousand square meters of glass on three floors that houses exhibition spaces, a library and a large terrace for events.

    “Fluctuart is the first floating urban art center in the world, a unique place, open to all the curious and passionate public, available to all the actors of the urban scene: artists, professionals and institutions. Fluctuart appreciates all trends in urban art, from street art pioneers to contemporary artists, and highlights emerging and innovative practices in particular, ”the site reads.

    And, in fact, the new museum on the Seine houses a permanent collection dedicated to the great masters of street art, such as Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Vhils and Keith Haring, as well as temporary exhibitions by emerging artists and workshops w workshops. In addition, projectors and videomapping installations project the most significant works onto the low wall and the quay outside.

    The original museum can be visited for free every day from noon to midnight. Useful metro stops are: Invalides (lines 8 and 13); Champs-Élysées Clémenceau (lines 1 and 13) and Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1 and 9).
