Are you tired and stressed at the end of the day? What's better than a foot scrub? A very important part of our body, which needs special attention. When we do a foot massage, we automatically help our body get rid of stress. Likewise, the scrub relaxes and reduces the feeling of tiredness. Mint and sugar scrub

The cooling and calming effect of peppermint oil has long been known. It also relieves muscle pain when applied locally. Sugar is an excellent scrub that has been used for centuries to remove dead skin and make it soft. To prepare this scrub, we use a cup of granulated sugar, add half of olive oil and 4-5 drops of peppermint essential oil, mixing well. If we have fresh mint leaves available, we can add them chopped. Once ready, gently rub it on your feet for 15 minutes with circular movements and rinse with warm water.

This scrub softens hard skin while releasing a fresh scent. You need a cup of salt, 1/3 cup of olive or almond oil, a spoonful of peppermint, 6 drops of peppermint essential oil and hot salt water (about 3 liters are needed for the foot bath). In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the salt water. Soak your feet in the water for 10-15 minutes, then massage the mixture into your feet for 5 minutes and rinse.

Brown sugar and coconut oil scrub

Against dry, cracked heels, this scrub is made by mixing two cups of brown sugar, ½ cup of coconut oil and a pinch of peppermint oil. Rub the mixture on your feet and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse and dry.

Eucalyptus and brown sugar scrub

THEeucalyptus oil it is renowned for its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. We take a cup of brown sugar, half of grape seed oil (or other vegetable oil such as avocado, flax or olive) and 2-3 drops of eucalyptus oil. If available, we can also add chopped rose petals. We apply everything for a few minutes and rinse.

Sugar, lavender and coconut scrub

With this lavender oil-based scrub, we will achieve a calming effect because the oil is able to eliminate nervous tension and muscle pain, also improving blood circulation. Let's take a cup of white sugar, half a cup of coconut oil and 2-3 drops of lavender oil. We mix everything and apply it on the feet.

Baking soda scrub

After a long day, to soothe your feet and reduce dull skin, just soak them in a gentle bath based on baking soda. We dissolve three tablespoons of baking soda in a basin of hot water. We can also prepare a scrub for a deeper exfoliation especially of the heels, mixing, to create a paste, three parts of baking soda and one of water. You can also add one or two tablespoons of honey. The compound can also be used to treat corns and calluses on the hands.



Coffee grounds scrub

They can also be very useful for the beauty and health of the feet by becoming an easy scrub to prepare. We mix the same amount of coffee grounds and sugar softening with a spoonful of olive oil or coconut oil. For those who are not vegan, it is also possible to add honey. We rub the wet paste on the skin and rinse well.

Oat flakes and sweet almond oil scrub

Epsom, coconut and lemon salt scrub

Brown sugar scrub

The soft, fine grains of brown sugar dissolve quite easily in hot water. This makes it an ideal ingredient for gently exfoliating dry feet. Then adding oil can rehydrate your feet and lock in moisture for hours. We mix ½ cup of brown sugar, ¼ cup of any liquid oil (such as olive oil, almond oil, avoiding semi-solid oils like coconut, which are more difficult to mix) and ¼ of fragrant flower petals. Mix everything and rub on your feet for a minute. After rinsing, the result will be soft and smooth skin. Any leftover scrub can be stored in the fridge in a closed jar for a week.

Sugar, cinnamon and orange peel scrub

Mix equal parts of whole milk and warm water (adding enough liquid to cover the feet) in a foot bath. Leave them to soak for 10-15 minutes or until the water is no longer hot. Prepare the scrub by mixing equal parts of brown and white sugar with coconut oil to form a thick paste. Add dried orange peels and half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Rub on the feet, especially on the heels and callused areas. Wash them and moisturize them with coconut oil. To get more hydration, cover with cotton socks for an hour or better overnight.

Rosemary and coffee oil scrub
