Dog people: when people imitate their dogs

Let's face it. Who among us, at least once, hasn't thought of looking like their dog and vice versa? Who has noticed that your four-legged friend often takes on expressions similar to ours? We are not the only ones. And there are those who have even made an art of it, like the Hamburg photographer Ines Opifanti who immortalized dogs and men by giving a gallery of hilarious photos

Let's face it. Who among us, at least once, has not thought of looking like their own dog and viceversa? Who has noticed that their four-legged friend often takes expressions similar us? We are not the only ones. And there are those who have even made an art of it, like the photographer from Hamburg Ines Opifanti who immortalized dogs and men by giving away a hilarious photo gallery.

It's really true. Often our dogs tend to imitate human expressions. We got used to grimaces, smiles and even pouting. "Dog People"Is just that, a mix of faces, hairy and not, even if it was humans who tried to imitate the facial expressions of dogs.

In all, 30 volunteers said yes to the photographer, accompanied by their puppies on this side-by-side journey.

It tells Opifanti that he first photographed the dogs, allowing them to sit on a small podium. Meanwhile, their owners played and talked with them, also allowing them to relax and not perceive the presence of the camera so as not to get scared.

After the dogs were photographed, the owners interpreted their expressions and attempted to imitate them.
