E-Cat. The instrument that is the protagonist, perhaps, of the energy miracle seems to work. But how much will it cost to produce energy? Will it soon be low-cost?

And the prospect of freeing ourselves from Petroleum by solving the problem of energy supply once and for all, with the environmental implications associated with it, it already has a name: E-Cat.
We have talked about it several times. Cold fusion that is nuclear energy produced not through fission but through a process in which Nickel and Hydrogen intervene. It is spoken of in terms of an "energy miracle". But beyond the speculations, if really Andrea Rossi e Sergio Focardi they were right, in the not too distant future theirs E-Cat it could even go so far as to produce energia low cost.
Rossi has in fact calculated that the version for domestic use of its catalyst from 10 kw should cost around € 5.000 today, therefore around € 500 per kw. A little expensive, we all think, but it must be borne in mind that if there was mass production, the costs would inexorably go down, to the benefit of consumers.

However, the hope is that once the E-Cats are mass-produced, the raw materials can also adapt. However, the problem only concerns nickel since hydrogen is readily available, starting from water.
