Lace and hay, to symbolize the beauty of this land: in Puglia traditions are something sacred that should not be overlooked and this artist knows it well, who has created a magic with his hands again. Which went viral.

He is Bernardo Palazzo, artist and designer-maker that we already met last year with Rainbow, the suggestive crochet installation that adorned the streets of Cisternino (Read here: Huge doilies suspended on the alleys: the suggestive installation by Cisternino to rediscover the art of crochet), and which will be repeated again this year.

Now is the time to Firmament, a path to the sound of doilies, laces and laces that literally "embrace" the sheaves of wheat at the foot of the Locorotondo belvedere.

    SIGNING | Locorotondo

The Sun and the Moon meet in the Itria Valley, between wheat and lace. Large round bales of hay, golden like the sun, join the white doilies like full moons. Wheat, a symbol of fertility in ancient civilizations, welcomes doilies, similar to large mandalas, ancient drawings and sacred representations of the cosmos. This beautiful art installation is titled "#Firmamento - The sun and the moon, between wheat and lace" and is a syncretic installation, able to combine art, tradition and territory. It is located at the foot of the "seafront" of Locorotondo, visible from the stretch of the ring road that runs along the belvedere and will be active until the end of August. The work was created by the artist Bernardo Palazzo designer, in collaboration with the Luzzart - Syncretic Agency APS association and with the contribution of the Municipality of Locorotondo. Valle d'Itria is increasingly magical. (Locorotondo, #Puglia) SOUNDTRACKE chorà tu anemu (The dance of the wind) CGS Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino Location: https://bit.ly/3dQ1gT4

Wheat, a symbol of fertility in ancient civilizations, welcomes doilies, similar to large Mandalas, ancient drawings and sacred representations of the Cosmos. Sun and moon meet without time, in an installation that aims to be a hymn to nature, to its beauty and divine power, says Palazzo.
