To go shopping, Eurospin "advises" to use the horse given the costs of traditional fuels: advertising, which launches a message of questionable eco-sustainability, is not entirely fantasy, because there are those who had decided to really do it ( even if to go to work, not to the supermarket).
In the advertisement of the well-known supermarket chain Eurospin there is a horse “parked” in front of one of the points of sale and the slogan “When expensive fuel makes itself felt” appears on the image.
The marketing strategy takes advantage of the news reported by the portal 'L'Unione Sarda' according to which a horse has actually entered a Eurospin sales point in Ittiri, a town in the province of Sassari. And it is immediately (questionable) irony.

But there are those who are really taking advantage of a horse to save on fuel costs.
He is Louis Geneix, a 21-year-old French waiter living in Lapte, Haute-Loire, who swapped his usual car for a horse on his way to work (a brewery in Yssingeaux).
This morning I came to work on horseback - the young man tells the 'France 3' portal - It was the price of fuel that motivated my choice. There was an argument with my boss: he had to change cars during the week and I told him to take an electric car, given the price of diesel. He replied that I had to feel comfortable because I had my horse. So I came on horseback
Between his workplace and the place where he lives there are 15 km, so with the horse the young man took a little longer than the usual 10 minutes, but still a reasonable time.
It took me less than an hour to get there - he continues - I take the normal route and part of the greenway. My horse is used to machines. If there is fog, I wear a yellow vest and a glow-in-the-dark mark on its tail
And no, it was not an ironic answer to his boss, because the boy is going to continue, at least for the day shifts.
Sustainable solution? Perhaps for the pockets, yes, given the soaring costs on fuel, but we would not define it as sustainable exploitation of animals. There is always the solution of bicycle, this is really eco-friendly!
