The Culture Bonus, now renewed for the fifth time, is an initiative that aims to promote culture among young people by making available 500 euros for each boy or girl who has just turned 18.
Specifically, these are vouchers that can be spent on the purchase of books, audiovisual publishing, access to museums, monuments, parks but also for concert tickets, dance events, theater (obviously when all this starts again) as well as to finance language courses and other.
How to get the Culture Bonus
From 12.00 April at 2020 it will be possible to register on the website dedicated to the initiative and request the bonus, provided for all residents in the national territory (in possession, where applicable, of a valid residence permit) who have reached the age of eighteen of age in XNUMX.
First of all it is necessary to be in possession of the SPID, then simply access the 18 app site (there is time until 31 August 2021) and download the vouchers with a total value of 500 euros which will be spent by 28 February 2022.
What can be purchased with the Culture Bonus
As stated on the site, thanks to the voucher you can buy goods for a total of 500 euros and specifically:
- tickets for theatrical and cinematographic performances and live performances ("live performances" means productions of music, dance, theater, circus and traveling shows. Music performances do not include dance events);
- books (including audio books and electronic books, excluding hardware supports of any kind suitable for their reproduction)
- admission tickets to museums, exhibitions and cultural events, monuments, galleries, archaeological areas, natural parks
- recorded music (CDs, musical DVDs, vinyl records and online music, excluding hardware supports of any kind suitable for their reproduction)
- music courses
- theater courses
- foreign language courses
- products of audiovisual publishing (single audiovisual works, distributed on physical support or in digital format, with the exclusion of hardware supports of any kind suitable for reproduction. Works of a videogame, pornographic nature or that incite violence, racial hatred are excluded or gender discrimination. Subscriptions for access to channels or platforms offering audiovisual content cannot be purchased).
From this year, subscriptions to newspapers also in digital format are added to the list of products that can be purchased.
