A man would try to illegally transporting a turtle by hiding it in a hamburger to circumvent the security of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. It might seem like the hoax of the moment circulating on the Internet. But, even if the photo you see is just a photomontage, it seems to have really happened. And the South China Morning Post.
The incident occurred on the morning of July 29, when a man, a certain Li, was about to leave aboard China Southern Airlines flight 345, to Beijing. But when his bags were X-rayed, security men spotted some "weird" protrusions in a hamburger he had packed in the bag. So they got suspicious, because they looked like limbs of a turtle, and asked to be able to inspect the luggage.
“There is no turtle, it's just a hamburger. There is nothing special to see inside, ”the man would insist. But in the end he gave in and granted verification, after repeated requests from the staff. And, in fact, it was just a turtle, which had been hidden in the suspicious burger. When asked why the strange gimmick, Li said that he just wanted to travel with his much "beloved" turtle.
When explained to him that these animals cannot be transported that way aboard the plane, Li grudgingly agreed to entrust her to a friend of his while he was away. The reaction of the community to the publication of the absurd story in the newspapers was not long in coming: there are many who point out that Li's version may not hold up: if you love a turtle, how can you think of subjecting it to that stress, too? making her absorb all those x-rays?
