    Mumbai police rescued an abandoned baby girl in a sewer after stray cats in the area alerted residents. The little girl, wrapped in a cloth, was recovered and is now well





    A baby girl was rescued by the Mumbai police, after being alerted by some local inhabitants, near Pantnagar. According to a tweet from the police, the credit for the rescue goes to a group of street cats, who found a way to call people back.

    Pantnagar P.stn received a call from a good samaritan that a baby, wrapped in cloth, was dumped in a drain. He was alerted when the neighbourhood cats created a ruckus. the baby was rushed to Rajawadi by the Nirbhaya Squad of Pantnagar P.Stn & is now safe & recovering. pic.twitter.com/nEGSDCD6wz

    The newborn was rushed to hospital, where she is now safe and on the mend, ”police said in a tweet, posted along with a photo of two officials holding the little bundle of the rescued baby in their arms. Mythical cats! Thank you!
