The terrible reality experienced by children fleeing the horror of war (VIDEO)

What would your life be like, or how would it be turned upside down, if the war also affected you, your home, your family? What if they dress you in the very, very narrow, appellation of "refugee"? Save the Children explains it in a touching new video.

Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

What would your life be like, or how would it be turned upside down, if the war touches you too, your home, your family? And if they dressed you in the tight, very tight, appellation of "refugee"? And of rags, of blankets that you no longer have, of humiliation and terror?

Try to stop for a moment, in the midst of the useless junk you have, which smells of cleanliness and well-being, and try to think about what your day would be like if they took everything away from you. Dignity too.

With his video entitled "Still The Most Shocking Second A Day"(Sequel to"Most shocking second a day video”) And that we publish below, Save the Children tries to make it understood only with images. A sequence of frames in which a British refugee girl is fleeing a hypothetical civil war in the UK.

Fantasy? Are you sure? If it does not affect us directly, it does not mean that the desperation and fear, the suffering and terror of those who live in a state of war should keep you on your hands. The look of that little girl protagonist of the video makes it clear what refugees are forced to experience. Kids who are fleeing wars and persecutions, children who, as the international humanitarian organization points out, “are ours too. We have to save them, because now they are even more vulnerable ”.

Here is the video of the new Save the Children campaign:

The first Save the Children video, which had as its slogan "Just because it's not happening here doesn't mean it's not happening”, It opened with an English girl who blew out the candles and showed her carefree everyday life, but then her happy moments were turned upside down with the arrival of the bombings. In this second video, the same 13-year-old girl, still in a hypothetical conflict in Great Britain, is forced to flee in search of a place away from the war.

All over the world, they are 60 million people who have been forced to flee their homes by the war, conflict and persecution resulting in the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Among them is a generation of children who have lost everything: their homes, the possibility of an education and, often, their families as well.

IN SIRIA

The complete siege imposed in recent days in Syria, in the Khan Eshieh area, is preventing the entry of essential goods, putting the lives of about 3 thousand children at risk. The last way into and out of Khan Eshieh was a Palestinian refugee camp near Damascus, but it was due to heavy bombing and the presence of snipers.

“Despite the alleged ceasefire across the country, people live in terror of bombing and under siege. People living in Khan Eshieh have told us that most of the medicine, fuel and flour have now almost run out, while food prices have doubled in recent days. And the situation can only get worse. Roads and access to the camp urgently need to be restored to allow the entry of vital humanitarian aid, ”said Sonia Khush, head of Save the Children's programs in Syria.

Despite the recent February agreement to increase humanitarian access to besieged areas in Syria, hundreds of thousands of families are still without aid, while UN aid convoys continue to be denied permission to reach these areas of the country.
