William Lawrence is the youngest of his family. He is one year old and was born a little different from the rest of his brothers and sisters. Wil has Down syndrome, but thanks to a little Photoshop and the magic from his photographer dad Alan, he got a very, very special gift: can fly!
Dad Alan, who lives in Utah, USA, with his wife and 5 children, takes imaginative photos of his son flying, hoping that once he grows up they will inspire him. Even if his son has Down syndrome, so he will know that he will be able to do whatever he wants, because Wil can fly!
“These photos of Wil in flight have taken on a special meaning to me as I think about the challenges Wil is facing as he grows up. I hope to teach him that even with his disabilities he can do whatever comes to his mind ”, explains the father.
Alan is also preparing a project called “Bringing Light” whose goal will be to inspire and support others families living with Down syndrome. To teach that you shouldn't give up on all the things you love and do as a family for Down syndrome. You have to slow down and find joy in life.
