After all, our main emotions and the facial expressions that accompany them are universal. The protagonist of Monsterbox is a little girl who together with her monster friends goes to visit a grouchy florist's shop.
The girl enters the shop because she is looking for houses for her monsters, some Monsterbox, as you may have guessed from the title. The animated short was made by four students of the Ecole d'Art in Lyon: Ludovic Gavillet, Derya Kocaurlu, Lucas Hudson, and Colin Jean-Saunier.
At first, the shopkeeper is not at all happy to help the little girl build some little houses for monsters, but then decides to please her. Here then is thegrumpy senior florist he decides to commit himself and thus manages to give a great joy to the girl and her little monster friends.
The protagonist would do anything to help her friends, who are actually very different from her. But the differences can be overcome and certainly one can always strive for together contribute to the realization of a dream. We are all different, indeed, we are all unique.
The short film also shows the importance of rediscovering harmony and collaboration between people of different ages. In a society that tends to separate the world of the elderly from the world of children, perhaps the time has come to rediscover that between adults and children there can be many points in common and that children can help the elderly to rediscover the joy of living. . While the elders can be an example to children with their wisdom.
