Ancient practices of recycling of agricultural waste and modern ecological techniques now allow agriculture to improve production while saving chemical fertilizers and pesticides. A new composting technique called "EM – Bokashi"Allows farms themselves to recycle agricultural production waste in one special rich fertilizer from Humus.

In ancient times the peasants kept the organic waste in a hole or in mounds, to then obtain some organic fertilizer. Today similar practices are called composting. Composting is known practice in organic farming, but the "do-it-yourself" preparation is new, so fast and simple, thanks to the treatment with  EM-Farming (MS-F).

EM-Farming is a liquid that contains natural enzymes that stimulate the humification of organic substances: therefore used to accelerate composting, it allows the integration of quality organic fertilizer on soils. For certified organic and non-organic agriculture. The EM-F treatment is not a real composting: on the contrary of the organic compost, the preparation of the material with EM-F takes place in large unturned mounds, ed the organic process is fermentative and not ventilated.

One of the most suitable raw materials forself production of organic fertilizer with EM-F it is waste from the pressing of the olives, the pomace. In fact, several companies have already introduced the recycling of olive pomace in fertilizer with EM-F technology. To document this practice, an experimentation has been underway in the CSO for 2 years, Consorzio Salentino Olivicoltori (CSO Program - Reg. (CE) n. 867/08) which will continue for another 3 years.

The olive pomace is first sprinkled with liquid In-F, then stored for fermentation for 1-3 months and then sprinkled on the land with a normal manure spreader without having to resort to incinerators (pomace plants). All for the benefit of the environment. And not only.

I agronomic advantages are remarkable: organic fertilization has lasting effects on soil fertility, by strengthening the plants, it prevents diseases, but the economic ones for farms are also noteworthy, which by fertilizing with Sansa EM-F can save on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

For many years, modern agriculture has abandoned organic fertilization, making the most of the potential of chemistry. The soils exploited are now unable to regenerate and require continuous chemical stimulation. By inserting the EM-F fertilizer (rich in Azotobacter, organic matter and humus) theagriculture is more productive and ecological.
