The 19th century house measures 770 square meters and has 17 rooms, including 4 bedrooms, spread over three floors. The picturesque cottage is located on a 2 hectare lot with a vegetable garden and orchard. Hamilton has lived on the property for 20 years and has restored its historic fixtures over the years.
Is called Roselands and is located in Pill, near Bristol. It belongs to the British hatter Tricia Hamilton, who has lived on the property for over 20 years. It was built in 1829 and is worth a million pounds, around 1,140 million euros.
The house has been on the market for more than a year but despite the original price cut, the woman was unable to find a buyer. For this she has chosen an unconventional way to sell the cottage: a lottery.
The family has lived here for two full generations. The original features offer a small insight into the ordinary life of the past, with a charming wood-burning oven. The old English garden was laid out in the early XNUMXth century, but has remained intact.
The "Win My House" contest is scheduled for next 15 February at 16:30 GMT and, in accordance with the regulations set by the UK Gambling Commission, entrants will be asked to answer a question requiring "skill , observation and judgment ". Not a simple draw then.
The original footprint has been preserved and improved with modern construction techniques such as moisture proofing, insulation and a new roof. Also, new rooms have been added.
"Now this competition, 'Win My House' gives me the chance to show my house to a new audience" explains Tricia.
It will not be easy since the woman has to sell 500.000 tickets to be able to carry out the drawing. If she succeeds, she will invest the earnings in her business and she will try to get closer to the rest of her family.

The winner of the house will have the stamp duty and taxes to pay but will be awarded this splendid home. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to two charities, including an organization that deals with homeless youth.
