The DIY costume that we propose below is inspired by the anthropomorphic cat, protagonist of the famous book "The cat with a hat" from 1957. To make it you need an old roll of toilet paper, white and red woolen thread, headband, red bow, jacket, black pants and shoes, long white socks.

- Make a small hole in the top of the roll and thread the white wool thread through it.
- Wrap the thread around the roll covering about 1/4 of it. Use a small amount of glue to hold the end in place.
- Now wrap the red thread around the roll, alternating it with the white one.
- Make another small hole in the top and thread the end of the thread into the slot. You can use some glue to hold the thread in place.
- Cut a circle of white construction paper slightly larger than the roll and glue the roll to the center of the circle. Let it dry.
- Now you can apply the hat on any headband, with the help of a pinch of hot glue.
