DIY Christmas bells with recycled cups

• All you have to do is glue a string to the inside of the cup, to which you will have tied a bell. To do this, use resistant glue suitable for the target material or hot glue. 
• Get another piece of string and glue it to the top of the bell (which corresponds to the base of the cup). Be careful only to use a super-fixing glue to prevent the cord from coming off. 
• Add a nice bow on the top of the bell and that's it!

You start by tapping the cans with a hammer, a fundamental step to achieve the vintage effect. The cans are then cut out with scissors, proceed by folding the edges and painting them with gold spray.

The black spray is instead sprayed on a bag and tapped on the golden can, in order to create the aged effect. The bells are prepared with the remaining pieces of can and fixed to the main ornament.

DIY Christmas bells with paper cups

Even the old ones paper cups (or yoghurt pots) lend themselves to the creation of originals DIY Christmas bells. Handmade Charlotte explains, in her tutorial, how to create them with a few simple materials.

In addition to a few paper cups, you'll need tissue paper, string and ribbon, a hot glue gun, wooden beads, and vinyl glue.

• Cut out various pieces of tissue paper of your favorite colors, place them gradually on the glasses by passing a coat of vinyl glue over them. Proceed until you have coated the different glasses.
• Let the tissue paper dry and add more details, such as stripes, circles, triangles, and anything else that inspires you.
• Let the glasses dry completely and make a small hole in the base (which corresponds to the top of the bell) by passing a cord through it and knotting it, so that it remains fixed.
• Tie the perforated wooden bead on the other end of the cord. Add a nice bow to the top of the bell by securing it with a pinch of hot glue.
