Do-it-yourself carpets. There are those who have them made with seamstress centimeters and who preferred use your husband's old ties. If you don't have these materials, cork or old teddy bears available, you can still make a fantastic carpet for the bathroom.

All you need are alone fabric scraps. Take old worn-out towels and bathrobes and, instead of throwing them away, give them new life by simply weaving them into a non-slip carpet net, which you can easily find in the best equipped hardware stores or DIY stores.

The process takes some time and a lot of patience, but the result is rewarding: you will get a comfortable rug made with your own hands without having thrown anything away.

Materials needed:

Different fabrics

Scissors

Anti-slip net for carpets (also found at IKEA or haberdashery)

1) First of all make sure that the fabrics are well washed.

2) Choose the desired size of the bath mat and then cut the grid

3) Prepare the fabrics by cutting them into strips approximately 15 cm long and 2 cm wide

4) Insert each strip in a square of the net making a double knot (the advice is to work vertically)

5) Make sure they are all facing the same direction
