The old cover you no longer use can turn into a practical one soap dish for the bathroom or in a sponge holder. There is no need to modify it in any way, just turn it upside down and place the soap or sponge on it.

The hole for the camera is useful for draining the water directly into the sink, preventing it from accumulating inside the cover.

In the case of the sponge it may be necessary to cut it with scissors to resize it according to the measurements of the case.

Luggage tag with old cover

Are you departing and need a baggage tag? Just glue your business card with your contacts on the cover, which you can also make by hand by writing your name, surname and other info on a rectangle of cardboard.

At this point, get yourself an adjustable strap, pass it through the hole in the cover (the one of the camera), and hook it to the luggage.
