Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

This terrible story comes from India where a baby died after putting in his mouth the cable of a telephone battery charger connected to the socket.

A tragedy on which we should better clarify, to understand how it could have happened, but which in any case reminds us that we must always be extremely careful when our little ones get close to electricity.

The child was with his mother in Jahangirabad, India, where he had gone to spend time with his grandparents and the accident occurred right at their home.

The little one was playing alone and suddenly, attracted by the electrical outlet (we know children are), he decided to put the end of a charger cable that was stuck there in your mouth.

This simple gesture was fatal for him. In fact, the little boy was electrocuted and, despite the rush to the hospital after the relatives realized what had happened, there was nothing for him to do and he was declared dead on arrival.

According to the Times of India, the baby's mother removed the phone from a nearby charger but forgot to turn off the switch (maybe it was a power strip or power strip?).

Another well-known local newspaper, The Hindustan Times, claims that the child was hospitalized after suffering an electric shock due to a connected charger but does not specify anything else.

It was also not confirmed how old the baby was and whether it was a boy or a girl. The two local newspapers mention different ages and genders. In the first case, the horror incident would have involved a two-year-old girl while in the other a three-year-old boy.

However, the discourse does not change e there would be several things to understand to really clarify what happened. The charger should be low voltage and not low enough to cause such a tragedy to happen.

Maybe the electrical system wasn't the best? We would like to say probable ...

Let us remember in any case of never take risks when the little ones are involved. We must avoid leaving chargers or other connected to the power sockets and always turn off the power strips (also for an energy saving speech).

Then there are special socket covers that you can buy and assemble at home when there are children who tend to be attracted and put their fingers inside.
