Seattle could therefore gradually turn into one transition city, in which the typical activities of farmers will be integrated with the lifestyles of the inhabitants of urban centers.

The idea was born in 2009, following some meetings between the permaculture expert Jenny Pell and the Beacon Hill community, on the occasion of some courses on the subject aimed at the population, who immediately showed their support for the initiatives promoted on the spot. for the spread of sustainable agriculture within the reach of citizens.
