The bees help to create the plants and flowers that are used for the preparation of herbal teas. For this reason, the Taylors of Harrogate company decided to create a "Luxury hotel" dedicated to bees as a sign of gratitude and to sensitize people and companies around the world to their protection.
Pollinating insects, with bees in first place, help distribute pollen in 75% of the world's cultivated fields and 87% of wild flowers and plants. In short, bees are worth much more than honey (for those who consume this product).

Taylors of Harrogate collaborated with Kew Gardens to design the Grand Beedapest Hotel, a luxurious hotel for bees inspired by the Wes Anderson 'Grand Budapest Hotel'. The idea was born to raise awareness about the declining bee population and to inspire people to grow pollinating insect friendly flowers and aromatic herbs suitable for attracting them, such as lavender, sage and geraniums.

Unfortunately, pesticides, pollution and the loss of natural habitats are endangering the survival of bees. The hotel for bees is designed to contribute to their survival not only in the countryside but above all in the urban areas, where to create green spaces and suitable places to protect them.
