Over the centuries it has spread and changed until it assumed the appearance of the one we know. But as we know, changes, even positive ones, bring with them more or less profound changes and today agriculture has a significant environmental impact which often brings with it air, water and soil pollution.
And it is for this reason that the ARAM concept was born, a photovoltaic tractor low emissions, conceived by the Brazilian designer Gabriel Henrique Floss.
The vehicle was designed to be used during sowing and for vegetable harvest and is characterized by a very simple and clean design.
The passenger compartment is completely open and in the center is the seat for the driver around which there are horizontal panels, directly fixed to the frame, in which they can be placed in trays for sowing or delle small houses for the storage of agricultural products. On the roof are integrated the Photovoltaic cells able to exploit theclean energy of the sun to feed the four electric vehicle motors.
This set up is ideal for offering maximum freedom and comfort to the farmer, especially in the hot and humid conditions of the morning.
What we need to check will be thereeffective autonomy of the vehicle especially with regard to the large spaces of agricultural activities, but above all if it will succeed, since it is still a prototype, to find companies that believe in the project to start marketing. However, we believe that projects like this are very important and can represent a new form of sustainable agriculture.
