What if colored crayon butts become jewels and common jute sacks are transformed into original photo frames? Those who love recycling and reuse cannot fail to appreciate the colorful creations by Sara Mengozzi and Valentino Rambaldi, founders of the brand IngeniumSoul S&V and the homonymous Facebook page.
The idea behind IngeniumSoul is that there is no object that cannot change shape and live a second life: and it is precisely starting from this conviction that Sara and Valentino have created, as a hobby and for passion, one line of eco-jewels and other furnishing accessories.
All their creations, made strictly by hand, are born from the recovery and "transformation" of other objects. And so, for example, rings, necklaces and bracelets have taken shape from butts of colored pencils, while Photo frames were born from jute, hemp and vintage fabrics sacks. Each piece is unique, and has been designed and worked with patience, precision and creativity.
"IngeniumSoul was born from the idea of creating alternative things starting from the objects that surround us in everyday life." - He tells us Sara mengozzi - “All objects have a soul, but only those who have an alternative and unique soul can see different forms in them. Hence the name, IngeniumSoul: 'ingenium' from the Latin 'innate talent' and 'soul' from the English 'soul'. "
"It all started as a joke, because me and Valentino, my partner, we have always recycled anything. We never throw anything away, because we think that everything can help. And this is how our one-of-a-kind spoons, coffee pots-diffusers and vintage photo frames were born, made with coffee bags in jute, with hemp and with vintage fabrics… But the creations from pencils are the ones that give us the most satisfaction: to think that a small work of art can be born from a butt that would end up in the bin is truly incredible!
