The original invention of the wedding dress made with plastic bottles is by a famous British fashion designer and eco-designer, Michelle Brand, already known for her beautiful recycled PET flowers that used 2.220 recycled plastic bottle bases, 6.512 plastic bottle caps and 13.880 labels, and which he baptized just like this: Green With Envy.

The dress, which debuted in April at Britain's largest shopping center, was designed with a noble purpose: to encourage the use of sports, the classic reusable canvas bags, versus plastic bags.

For the designer, it was an extraordinary opportunity to transform everyday objects and revive them in a different way. However, he explained, it wasn't easy to weave a I live with the plastic of the bottles. In fact, various steps were required, from washing the bottoms of the bottles to cutting, filing and polishing, and finally to the actual creation of the wedding dress.
