Onde di snowballs on the surface of the Sebago Lake, in Maine, in the United States. The strange phenomenon was filmed in this location during the first days of the new year. In this period the US is shaken by a real wave of bad weather.

The lowering of temperatures has frozen the water of the lake surface. Gradually the waves formed due to the strong wind pushed the pieces of ice and smoothed them to form icy spheres that resemble snowballs, at least according to some hypotheses.

David Allen, a local artist of which we had already spoken because of his fantastic installations made with stones in balance and leaves, shot a video that is making the rounds of the web. Looking at the video it seems to be on another planet. This is how the artist described the sensational natural phenomenon that she was lucky enough to observe and film.

He had reached the lake to take some pictures but he found himself in front of a truly unexpected spectacle that really deserved to be immortalized with a video. The phenomenon manifested itself later the first snowfall of the year occurred in the area where the Sebago Lake.

Initially Allen had thought of reaching the lake to dedicate some shots to the works he had created on the banks simply by arranging some stones in the balance.
