Trees also have their own clinic, the Pushpa Tree and Plant Hospital in the city of Amritsar in India.

Trees also have their own hospital: Pushpa Tree and Plant Hospital in the city of Amritsar in India. The founders Rohit Mehra and Pallavi have a very specific intent: to care for, conserve and plant as many trees as possible.

Locals can report unhealthy or difficult-to-care plants to the clinic. The expert team consists of 10-12 botanists and scientists from Punjab Agricultural University and Guru Nanak Dev University. The team, supported by several green-fingered enthusiasts, studies the causes of plant diseases and possible solutions to get them back to health.

The association is even provided with a sort of "ambulance" able to intervene directly on site. Citizens can report a sick tree via whatsapp, accompanying the message with photos showing the condition of the tree.

    Founder Pallavi told Reuters:

We ask people to plant more and more trees and not cut them down. If anything happens to them, call us. If they can't heal plants and trees, we'll do it. Our ambulance will arrive and provide proper treatment for the trees and plants.
