It has already been renamed as the bear dog because of its cute appearance: in the color and shape of the muzzle it resembles a little grizzly, but what is most striking is the fact that this little dog is so scared that it cannot find a home.
In the city of Chelyabinsk in Russia for some time he has been living in a shelter Medvebaka, which means bear dog, a four-legged friend saved from the road after several sightings. The stray that looks like a bear, as we said, is not the cross of any strange being, but according to veterinarians, it is probably the fruit of the union of a Chow Chow and another long-nosed dog.
In fact, in the thick-haired body, Medvebaka is very reminiscent of this Chinese breed and also in the blue color of the tongue. Whether he was born from an experiment done by an unscrupulous breeder or is simply the puppy of two strays, has not yet been defined. What is certain, given the animal's distrust, is that his life was not easy.
Let's start from the beginning. After several sightings, some inhabitants of a Russian neighborhood to save it from the cold, frost and hunger, had tried to approach the bear dog that would have been abandoned by the previous owners, traders at the Chelyabinsk market.
Probably mistreated and then left on the street (perhaps because 'not perfect' or purebred), the dog has developed a strong distrust towards man, but also towards others like him. According to Polina Kefer, the Nash Dom animal shelter volunteer:
“The dog experiences a lot of stress. We are looking for a truly knowledgeable family for him, but we haven't found one yet. Some time ago, he was adopted, but he was brought back after a few days ”, explains the volunteer.
Medvebaka due to his turbulent past does not socialize, tends to bite and does not allow himself to be approached, even now he is isolated and shows no interest in making friends.
“We have made many attempts, but for now everything has been in vain. It will probably take months to help him trust people again, ”continues Kefer.
The goal therefore remains to find a home for the little bear dog and let him regain some confidence.
